
England’s most flourishing football club Liverpool is going in the hands of John W. Henry’s Boston Red Sox company over the objections of owners Tom Hicks and George Gillett, who refuse to accept an offer they said is too low.
The Liverpool club had two offers and they accepted the one from New England Sports Ventures (NESV). They said that they have sailed the club for its approval to Premier League. The Liverpool Chairman Martin Broughton appreciated the NESV for its wining zeal and said “NESV’s philosophy is all about winning and they have fully demonstrated that at the Red Sox.”
It is said that New England Sports Ventures will pay about 300 million pounds ($477 million) for the club,
