The most successful athlete Eleni Artymata once again had brought glory to her country by taking the remarkable sixth position in the 2010 European Championship in Barcelona. She ended the 200m race in 22.61 which is the new national record also. The 24 years old athlete could not start well that’s why she has to satisfy herself on sixth rank .Otherwise she would have been on at least fourth position if started well.  Myriam Soumare of France won the race by taking 22.32 while Ukraine’s Elizaveta Bryzgina and Russia’s Aleksandra Fedoriva took second position jointly in 22.44 min. One more Russian, Anastasiya Kapachinskaya, took fourth while French runner Lina Jacques-Sebastien took fifth place ahead of Artymata with a time of 22.59.
