Wednesday's meeting between the Cyprus leaders was very fruitful - Alexander Downer

Turkish Cyprus President Derviş Eroğlu said to the reporters that the meeting with Greek Cyprus administration leader Demetris Christofias on Wednesday was fruitful. He said that we both were trying to reach a common point regarding the issue of "property" in Cyprus. But issues like “property” are very sensitive and the discussion could not end in just three four days.  

 

United Nations Special Envoy to Cyprus Alexander Downer who was in the meeting said that the Cyprus leaders would meet again on Friday to carry on discussing the aforementioned issue. Eroğlu and Christofias would meet on August 4 and 10 of next week, Downer said.
