UN Secretary General’s spokesperson Martin Nesirky told that UN will not reveal the content of the letter which UNSG has sent to both the leaders of Cyprus. He refused even to give the key element of the letter.

Nesirky said that UNSG said, ‘as you’ve heard the Secretary-General saying himself on Friday, there is not a lot of time because July the 1st is when Cyprus will be taking over the Presidency in the European Union and there is a lot to be done,’

At the same time he confirmed that there had been “a technical problem” in delaying the delivery of letter.
