North Cyprus isolation crime against humanity'
During an official visit to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (KKTC) on Tuesday, Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu called the isolation of the nation by the international community a crime against humanity, the continuity of which Turkey will no longer allow.
Davutoğlu, who had talks with Turkish Cypriot officials ahead of their upcoming negotiations with Greek Cyprus in September, told the NTV news channel that nobody should expect the continuation of these negotiations forever.
The use of the Cyprus issue as a trump card by Greek Cypriots at the European Union platform does not reflect a peaceful stance, he said.
“Their attempts to keep Turkey under pressure in such a way show they are not able to understand Turkey. Turkey's will for peace is strong; however, Turkey's will for protecting the interests of Turkey and the Turkish Cypriot people is as strong as its will for peace. Keeping the Turkish Cypriot people under isolation like this is a crime against humanity,” he said.
The EU's exertion of pressure on Turkey to open its ports and airports to Greek Cypriot traffic at a time when the reunification talks between Greek and Turkish Cypriots are ongoing is against the nature of negotiations, Davutoğlu also warned.

Crime against humanity?? what I wonder does he call the brutal invasion of Cyprus and the killing of over 5,000??
Turkey simply tirned northern Cyprus into an open prison for the Cypriots. and brought in settlers to ensure they never have a majority in any referendum
