Greek Cyprus President said that meeting took place without any progress

Greek Cyprus President Demetris Christofiase, after three days meeting in Green Tree said "discussions took place without the achievement of progress again," he further said that it was because both the sides were firm on their states.

 

Christofiase also said that he will not accept any timetable for the international settlement. The UNSG said that an essential progress should be achieved and Special representative of UN in Cyprus, Downer will report about the progress.

 

Ban-ki-Moon also said in the meeting that all the other UN Security resolution as regards as international conference being convend.

 

Christofiase wished for that progress must have achieved any progress but it was ‘not satisfactory.’ Ban gave statement in which he said that a little progress has been achieved in Green Tree. Christofiase clarified it by saying that if exchange of data is called progress then yes a little progress has been done.
