Greek Cyprus President Demetris Christofiase proceeded on Thursday for New York. In New York he will be meeting the UNSG and North Cyprus President Dervis Eroglu during 22-24 January.

The National Council (top advisory body) suggested President not to accept any deadline for Cyprus solution and secondly mediation of any international boby until both the sides do not agree on internal matters.

UNSG has invited both the leaders for tripartite meeting at Green tree New York.
