Greek Cyprus President Demetris Christofiase will call meeting of the National Council to discuss Green Tree meeting highlights.

Cyprus Government spokesperson Stefanos Stephanou said that government has suggested several dates for the meeting to be held. The tentative date for meeting is February2.

Talking about Downer, the special advisor on Cyprus issue by UN, Stephanou said that Christofiase wanted to meet Downer within two three days probably on Tuesday or Wednesday.

Downer’s position in Cyprus is being highly criticised nowadays mainly because of Greek Cypriot Presidency in July.
