Cyprus Tourism Organisation (CTO) yesterday revealed three surveys which show that 4% British and 5% German tourism has increased.

Cyprus ranks on 12^th position on British tourism and Germans rank Cyprus on 16^th position.  The tourists are very happy with the facility that Cyprus provides to its tourists and all want to visit Cyprus again.

The tourists consider it the best combination of ‘Sun and Sea ‘place. The Head of Director of Tourism Annita Demetriades said that “the development of alternative forms of tourism contributes greatly to shaping a fully fledged image of Cyprus as a tourist destination”.

She further said , ‘“special interests contribute in a positive way to achieving the main goals of the tourist strategy in relation to dealing with seasonality problems; increasing holiday demand towards Cyprus and enhancing arrivals in out of season periods, as well as increasing visitors per capita spending”.
