Thuraya Al-Baqsami holds 56th solo art exhibition

On display at the exhibition, which concluded on Feb 8, 2010, were 40 select paintings.
On the third day of the exhibition Al-Baqsami held a press conference to detail her experiences and the distinguished role played by the Arabian Gulf women in the field of art. The press conference was also attended by the President of the Republic.

When asked about holding her exhibition in TRNC, Al-Baqsami said she was eager to see united Cyprus. She said she was carrying a message of peace to boost international efforts towards the unity of Cyprus.
HE the Turkish Ambassador held a lunch party in honor of Al-Baqsami and her husband Mohammad Al-Qadiri. On the sidelines of the exhibition, Al-Baqsami and Al-Qadiri paid a visit to a number of universities and colleges of arts.
