Cyprus has also been affected by the closure of other international airports due to the volcanic ash cloud.

The spokesman for Hermes Airports said that 20 flights have been affected, 18 to and from Larnaca International Airport and a further two from Paphos.

Passengers are advised to contact the airline they are travelling with or their travel agent to get the necessary information before travelling.
