The continuous rain from the past two weeks has filled dams. Today one another local dam has overflowed.

Τhe Kannaviou dam was constructed in 2006 and yesterday morning it has overflowed again. This is the second time that dam water has crossed the banks.

Till today five dams have overflowed naming Asprokremmos, Argaka, Pomos and Arminou.
Kannaviou is the fourth largest dam in Cyprus.

If rain occurs in such a way then the Evretou dam will also fill soon.
