Greek Cyprus President Demetris Christofiase wised New Year to its people and hoped for better future of Cyprus. Demetris also wished for finding the Cyprus solution and for become financial stable in the coming year.

Demetris mentioned the year to be the most difficult year in the history of Cyprus. Te President was speaking at the National Guard and the Hellenic Forces in Cyprus (ELDYK) at Presidential Palace.

Cristofiase said that the past eleven years were very difficult and people did not feel peace.The children are dying of hunger and diseases. The basic necessities are also lacking.

Christofiase also wished to have better position of social justice in te coming year of 2012.
