ESPECIALLY GAMBLING TOURISTS ARE VISITING...Unfortunately many tourists prefer coming to TRNC – that we call a “tourism country” - on religious and new year holidays; and their visits mostly serve to the hotels which have casinos. The only airport of our country , Ercan, got through very busy days during the festival as it is the case in every religious holiday. Especially yesterday which was the last day of holiday almost one flight landed while the other was taking off.

CIVIL AVIATION WAS BUSY...High passenger density started at the first day of holiday and peaked with 15,023 passengers served yesterday. During the holiday, 50 thousand passenger operations was made at Ercan Airport where 279 aeroplanes landed and took off. At Ercan 73 aeroplanes on the festival eve, 51 on the first day of holiday, 25 on the second, 45 on the third and 85 aeroplanes 2 of which were private landed and took off yesterday.
