Turkey’s company for the of  finding natural gas may start in 2012 summer. The research is being conducted in the boarders of Famagusta.


The Turkish Petroleum Corporation (TPAO) already collected seismic data from the area which gives hint of natural gas and exploration.

 The drilling will start with one well up to the depth of three kilometer.

 
Turkey signed the agreement with North Cyprus and TPAO on November 2 to operate exploration on land controlled by the Turkish Cypriot regime.
