The North Cyprus President Dervis Eroglu stated that the biggest problem in tourism industry is so called embargoes which originate from the non-recognition. Dervis Eroglu was addressing the 21st Regular General Assembly of the Turkish Cypriot Hoteliers’ Union.

Dervis said that if the positive result comes out of the tripartite meeting in New York then there won’t be any problem of embargoes and everything will be alright. He assured that irrespective of the result of Cyprus talks he will talk to EU for lifting the so called embargoes.

Eroglu wish the tourism industry and his target is to achieve 40 thousand beds and 60 thousand students. He said that I can foresee the better future of tourism this year.
 

The chairman of KITOB, Mehmet Dolmaci said that the year 2011 was very satisfactory and fruitful for tourism industry.
