Greek Cyprus has permitted Nobel Energy to transfer 30 percent to Israel's Delek Group.

Delek Drilling LP said that it would get 15 percent of the rights with another Delek Group subsidiary, Avner Oil and Gas and will keep 15 percent with itself.

Noble Energy had a business on Block 12, close to Israel's Leviathan field. The rights transfer is seen as inspiring co-operation between Cyprus and Israel in drilling in Block 12.

During their dealing Cypriot government told the company that under the production-sharing contract, Noble will be the main operator of the concession and that its responsibilities towards Cyprus remain sincere.
