The Greek Cyprus Minister of Finance Kikis Kazamias said that government will convert state controlled Cyprus Stock Exchange (CSE) into ccompany. That will be the initiative towards privatization.

In yesterdays statement Kazamias said, ”The Council of Ministers adopted yesterday the Finance Ministry's proposal that will proceed with the change in the law on the Stock Exchange.'' He informed that CSE is the only state controlled Bourse in Europe.

Kazamias said that he would be sending the letter to CSE Chairman of the Board, its management and to the staff unions about the government decision.
