UK flight ban to North Cyprus Continues
An attempt by Cyprus Turkish Airlines and a tour operator CTA Holidays to overturn a 35 year ban on direct flights to the self-declared "Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus" has failed to achieve a judicial review.

THE EU has provided funding for a 2.6 million Euros water project in North Cyprus. The European Commission signed a works contract with Őzyalcin Construction Ltd in consortium with Adil Construction Ltd. to replace worn out water supply pipes in three towns, Gönyeli, Girne and Lefke.
